South Bend Mayoral Race
Incumbent Mayor James Mueller (D) beat Councilman Henry Davis Jr. (D) and will face Desmont Upchurch (R) in November.
South Bend City Clerk
Bianca Tirado (D) won over incumbent Dawn Jones (D) and newcomer Jason Banicki (D).
South Bend Common Council At-Large winners
Democrats Karen White, Rachel Tomas Morgan and Oliver Davis.
South Bend Common Council winner District 1: Canneth J. Lee (D)
South Bend Common Council winner District 2: Ophelia Gooden-Rodger (D)
South Bend Common Council winner District 3: Sharon McBride (D)
South Bend Common Council winner District 5: Sherry Bolden-Simpson (D)
South Bend Common Council winner District 6: Sheila Niezgodski (D)
Goshen Mayoral Primary
Republican Bill Malone won over Bill Gard. Gina Leichty will likely be the Democratic nominee in November. The Democratic party will hold a caucus Thursday (5/4) evening to formally choose Leichty as Mayor Jeremy Stutsman's replacement, effective June 16. The party will then hold a separate vote to likely choose her as the party's candidate in November.
Plymouth Mayoral Race
Plymouth will have a new mayor for the first time in 15 years. Councilman Gregg Compton (R) won the primary and will face current Councilmember Robert Listenger (D) in November.
School City of Mishawaka Referendum
Mishawaka voters said yes to the renewal of a referendum for School City of Mishawaka.
It would continue to bring in just under $3 million a year, and will not raise property taxes.

Many school districts in our area are asking for a renewal of their operating millage.
This will not change the taxes residents currently pay.
