With music by Richard Rodgers and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, Carousel is a timeless American musical that tells a story of love, loss, and redemption. It follows the passionate and complicated relationship between Billy Bigelow and Julie Jordan, exploring themes of forgiveness, hope, and the power of second chances. Featuring classic songs such as “If I Loved You” and “You’ll Never Walk Alone,” Carousel combines soaring music, heartfelt storytelling, and unforgettable characters that have moved audiences for generations.
At Wagon Wheel Center for the Arts, Carousel takes on a new intimacy. Who: Hosted by the Warsaw Breakfast Optimist Club. Open to seasoned triathletes, beginners, and relay teams. Organized by Co-Chairs Jeff Owens and the Optimist committee.
What: A premier regional triathlon featuring a scenic swim in Winona Lake, a fast-paced bike course through the countryside, and a run through the historic Village at Winona.
Where: Winona Lake, Indiana. Transition and finish line located near the heart of the Village at Winona.
When: June 27th, 2026.
Why: To challenge your fitness in a beautiful setting while supporting the Optimist Club’s mission of "Bringing Out the Best in Youth, in our Communities, and in Ourselves." All proceeds benefit local youth programs and community initiatives.

In celebration of Pride Month, the Cathedral of St. James invites the Michiana community to a Pride Eucharist. This service is a joyful affirmation of the LGBTQ+ community, centering on the belief that everyone is created in the image of God. Experience a blend of sacred tradition and radical inclusion in the heart of downtown South Bend. All are invited to stay for a reception afterward to share in fellowship and community.

Christmas in June Concert by The Ripple Effect
On Sunday, June 28, The Ripple Effect Vocal Visionary Project will be presenting a Christmas in June concert at Grace United Methodist Church in South Bend. The program begins at 4:00 p.m. with a variety of Christmas favorites, followed by a Christmas Sherryoke, and the stirring musical celebration, Then Christ Came (complete with chamber orchestra and original narration by Izzy Harbin). Admission is pay what you can at the door, and 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Grace Paper Pantry. Donations of toilet paper are also very welcome.Immediately after the performance, there will be a Christmas Ice Cream Social! The church is located at 3012 S.
