Elves have hidden ornaments around the St. Joseph County Parks, and they want YOU to embark on a quest to find them! Every Tuesday in December, the elves will unveil clues on the Parks’ Facebook page (facebook.com/sjcparks) to help lead you to the secret ornament hideaways. Join the game, locate the ornaments, snap a photo, and submit them to mgohn@sjcparks.org for a chance to win park prizes!
Our holiday chorus is returning!
Join the women of River Bend Chorus at our Tuesday evenings rehearsals through December 16, and participate with us in any holiday performances... no cost and no expectations.
Whether you're just curious or thinking about becoming a member, this is a great opportunity to find out what it's like to sing with us in a relaxed, welcoming environment. We'd love to have you!
Rehearsal arrival time is 6:45 pm, and warm-ups begin at 7:00 pm. Guests will be excused at 8:30 pm.

The River Bend Chorus, a women’s barbershop-style chorus, is very excited to announce its upcoming Holiday Concert on Thursday, December 11, at 7:00 pm, featuring all of your festive favorites. The concert will be held at the Church of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church at 53720 Ironwood Road in South Bend. Michiana’s men’s barbershop-style chorus the Valleyaires will join us for this special evening. The concert is a fundraiser for Youth Service Bureau, providing crucial services and programming for at-risk youth. Tickets are $12 and are available at this link: https://www.riverbendchorus.org/a-cappella-christmas-2025 Children under the age of 12 are free. There will also be a raffle to raise additional funds for this worthy organization.
River Bend Chorus is a member of Sweet Adelines International, a worldwide, non-profit organization dedicated to women’s four-part a cappella harmony in the barbershop style. River Bend Chorus has been singing for over 40 years and draws its members from Northern Indiana and Southern Michigan.

George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all – and it’s Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence – who then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn’t been for all his good deeds over the years.

Come hear a story from Mrs. Claus, decorate a cookie, and write a letter to Santa while waiting to have professional photos taken with Kris Kringle himself!
