Spring is the perfect time to get outdoors with kids! Join us for a special morning of activities for children five and under. We'll scoop in the pond to discover the tiny creatures that live underwater! Kids can also create unique works of art, hear a spring story, sample a tasty snack, and explore pond learning stations. This program is free thanks to a generous grant from the Dr. Elmer R. Graber Youth Fund for Exploring Nature. Registration required by May 6.

Calling Actors and Technicians, ages 8-15years!
Goshen Theater Drama Club’s Summer Camp runs June 9-27, with a final showcase on June 28 at 2PM. Campers who choose the “Performer Track” will spend their days rotating between Acting, Dance, and Music Classes. They will use improv and devised theater to create original plays to be performed at the final showcase, along with learning and creating multiple music and dance numbers. Campers who choose the “Technician Track” will spend their days learning how to operate lighting and sound equipment; building props, costumes, and set pieces; and learning how to create and run a show from behind the scenes.

Students 15 -18 years can inquire about being a teen mentor at GTDC@goshentheater.org! Teen mentors will assist with our younger students. Once the younger students leave for the day, our Teen Mentors will be given the opportunity for coaching with our instructors to work a monologue/scene and or a song to be performed at showcase. There is no tuition cost to teen mentors.
This is a baseball/softball tournament for 8u baseball/softball teams.

A 5k Run/ 2k walk to help local vets.
The Marshall County Historical Society is sponsoring a Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture Event on Friday, May 9, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. Gail Wing will speak about her father’s cross-country trip after graduating from college in 1933, a time when jobs were scarce due to the Great Depression. Hershel Seymour and a friend headed for Vancouver, B.C., but not everything went to plan on their great hobo adventure!The Brown Bag event will be held at the Marshall County Historical Society & Museum, 123 N. Each May during National Police Week the Elkhart Police Department recognizes and honors all of our police officers who have died in the line of duty with a Peace Officers Memorial Service. This year the event will be on Central Green Elkhart on Friday May 9th at 5:00 p.m. We invite the community to join us in this recognition of sacrifice and public service. The event will feature performances by local students and remarks by the Chief of Police, as well as a community speaker.
