South Bend-Elkhart Regional Partnership CEO stepping down in February

ChoiceLight

South Bend-Elkhart Regional partnership CEO Regina Emberton is stepping down in February to become the CEO of ChoiceLight, an area public-private partnership that provides fiber broadband internet access.

The news comes one week after regional leaders were awarded the full $50 million they were seeking in Indiana’s Regional Economic Acceleration and Development Initiative, or READI, grant process.

The South Bend-Elkhart area was one of only five regions to receive the maximum $50 million dollar grant.

The regional proposal includes investments in affordable housing and arts and cultural amenities as well as job and education programs like the LIFT Network or Notre Dame’s iNDustry Labs.
