More mobile COVID-19 testing events are taking place across Michiana.
Beacon Health System announced mobile testing sites for the rest of the week.
They will set up a mobile testing location Today at Prairie Street Mennonite Church in Elkhart from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday, Beacon will have another mobile unit from noon to 3 p.m. at Mount Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in South Bend.
On Thursday, one COVID-19 mobile testing site will be at Millersburg Fire Department from 9 to 10 am and another at Elder Haus Senior Center in Nappanee from 11:30 to 3 p.m.
On Friday the mobile testing unit will be back at the Goodwill on Western Avenue in South Bend from noon to 3 p.m.
A doctor’s order is required to be tested at the Beacon COVID-19 mobile sites.
The Elkhart Clinic also started COVID-19 testing this week at Concord Family Medicine Facility. Testing will be from 9am until 3pm on Monday through Thursday and 9am until noon on Friday. Patients at the clinic will be evaluated on arrival. No doctor's order needed.
Tests will be first come first serve and you must be symptomatic in order to be tested.
