It’s been four months since a box truck crashed into the New Prairie High School baseball team’s buses. Now, one of the players seriously hurt in the crash is finally leaving the hospital.

Lucas Bradshaw, a New Prairie High School baseball player seriously injured in last week’s crash involving two school buses, remains in the ICU in critically stable condition.

Police had tried to pull over Shawn Akison for reckless driving before he crashed into the New Prairie High School junior varsity baseball team mini-bus Thursday.
