Today funeral services are being held for Eric Logan at a church in Mishawaka. Logan is the black South Bend man who was killed by a white SBPD officer on June 16.
Prior to the funeral and separate from it, a march and rally is going on in South Bend called Stand Against Violence Everyday or S.A.V.E. It started at LaSalle School and ended with a tent revival style rally for neighborhood peace.

South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg is at the rally. Buttigieg initially had fundraisers planned for this weekend in New York, but cancelled those yesterday to return to South Bend by late Friday.
