Beckwith Theatre Summer Youth Program

Participants will learn a play and perform it in 2 weeks!

Auditions: June 12 1pm-4pm & June 13 11am-2pm

Performing:
How to Get Away With A Murder Mystery

Free performance dates: June 27 and 7pm & June 28 at 2pm

Participants will learn a play and perform it in 2 weeks. Our focus is students entering 6th to 12th grade, but other ages may be considered on a case-by-case basis. The program is open to any student of any district or homeschooled, not just Dowagiac students. We plan to allow every student who auditions to be included in the show. If we have more participants than performing roles, some roles will be shared. Backstage and production assignments are available for those who are not interested in performing. This program is designed to be a low-stress introduction to theatre. Beginners are encouraged to join.

There will be opportunities for actors, stage crew, lights/sound, costumes, etc. Please spread the word. We hope to see you there!

This is a baseball/softball tournament for 8u baseball/softball teams.

Uh oh, we lost Walden in the St. Joseph County Parks and need your help finding him! Every Friday in June, there will be clues posted on the St. Joseph County Parks' Facebook page as to where Walden is hiding within the parks. Find Walden, snap a photo, and submit them for a chance to win park prizes. *Regular gate fees in effect.

Chautauqua-Wawasee continues its annual Patriotic Speaker Series with Teddy Roosevelt, our 26th President. Theodore and his wife Edith, will share stories of their lives together, focusing on a love of nature and conservation. Teddy Roosevelt came to understand the healing power of nature as a boy and continued to have outdoor adventures the rest of his life.
