What: Chautauqua Plein Air Paint OutWhen: Fri., May 22 and Sat., May 23Time: 9 AM-5 PM Where: Oakwood Resort, 702 E. Lake View Rd, Syracuse, IndianaCost: FreePlein Air painting is the art of painting outdoors, capturing natural light and scenery. Starting at 9:00 am, artists will select a location and scene, and paint throughout the day on both Friday and Saturday. There will be a demonstration during the 12th Annual Fine Arts Festival. At 4 pm, awards will be presented. Artwork will be available all day for purchase.

Frequent demonstrations. Pears Mill is open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday from May 6th through Labor Day. There is no charge

This FREE Festival brings together more than 35 local and regional artists from around Indiana and beyond. All art has been juried to qualify for inclusion in the festival. The beautiful outdoor setting provides a family-friendly environment. Children’s activities and playground are available. Food vendors are onsite for snacks and lunch, with outdoor seating available.
