Indiana State Police (ISP) say that yesterday a Knox man was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

Here is the ISP release in its entirety:

On November 14, 2019, Indiana State Police arrested an Indiana man, Mitchell Patrick, 21, of Knox, Indiana on charges of Possession of Child Pornography.  The arrest came as part of an investigation of the Internet Crimes Against Children(ICAC) task force.   Mitchell Patrick was arrested without incident when a search warrant led investigators to the discovery of images of child pornography in the home.  Assisting with the investigation was the Indiana State Police Cyber Crimes Unit, Homeland Security and Starke County Sheriff’s Department.

The investigation began as part of a tip that was received by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.  The NEMC has a 24 hr hotline, 1800-843-5678, as well as a website of www.missingkids.com.  The Indiana State Police would like to emphasize that you can make a difference with investigations.  If you see something, say something!
