Cleveland Road

A full closure of the Cleveland and Beech Roads intersection will begin in mid to late May and is expected to last throughout the summer. The intersection must reopen by mid-October.

The South Bend Common Council voted Monday night to approve a rezoning that will make way for the New Day Intake Center to address homelessness in the region.

A couple living near the intersection is receiving nearly twice the county's initial offer for part of their land needed for the project
