Notre Dame opens its home football schedule this weekend, and fans heading to campus will see some changes inside the stadium along with familiar rules outside of it.

St. Joseph County Sheriff Department officers Thursday will climb the bleachers at Penn High School while a group of Notre Dame students invite the public to climb steps at Notre Dame Stadium and give a donation Wednesday evening.
