Chicago Art Girls THREE OAKS Fall Pop Up: A Celebration of Art and Community!
When: October 10+11 2026 from 10 am to 5 pm Saturday and 10 am to 4 pm Sunday
Where: The Commune + Market,105 N. Elm Street, Three Oaks, MI
The Chicago Art Girls are thrilled to announce our first Pop Up Shop in Three Oaks, Michigan, an inspiring marketplace showcasing the creativity and talent of Chicago and Michigan women artists. Join us on October 10 & 11 at The Commune, located at 105 N. Elm Street Three Oaks Michigan, 11am- 5pm Saturday and 11-4pm Sunday. This event is the perfect opportunity to start your holiday shopping, to meet friends and shop for unique, handmade items for everyone on your list—including yourself!
With a carefully curated selection of artwork, shoppers can explore a diverse range of items, including jewelry, wearable art, home décor, photography, paintings and more. Everything is handcrafted by the artists. The Three Oaks Pop Up Shop not only celebrates the incredible talents of women artists but also fosters a sense of community.

ABOUT CHICAGO ART GIRLS: Chicago Art Girls began as a small group of local, independent women artists who met and bonded while exhibiting their work at various regional and national art fairs. In the late ‘90s, they established an informal support group for networking and community support. In 2012, the group members formed a non profit and began hosting pop-up shops, showcasing their talents while promoting local handmade arts.

Join us for the Waverly Activity Center’s Hometown Hoedown, our big annual Dinner & Auction Fundraiser, on Saturday, October 10th!

Enjoy a fun evening featuring a barbecue dinner catered by The Q Wagon with all the fixings, music, entertainment, a silent auction, raffle, and plenty of hometown fun. The evening begins with our Front Porch Swing Social from 5:00–6:00 PM, followed by Dinner & Auction from 6:00–8:00 PM.
Individual tickets are $40, and seating is limited, so be sure to reserve yours soon!

Proceeds from this special evening will help the Waverly Activity Center expand the programs and services we provide to our community. Based in South Bend, Indiana, Loose Associates has been winning over audiences with their unique blend of Americana, indie-folk, folk-pop, and acoustic roots music. Their performances are filled with rich harmonies, heartfelt songwriting, and the kind of easy chemistry that only comes from musicians who truly love creating music together.

The band celebrated the release of their self-titled debut album in 2026, featuring twelve original songs that showcase thoughtful lyrics, memorable melodies, and a fresh authentic sound. The Beckwith Theatre Company Presents Wait Until Dark by Frederick Knott.

A sinister con man, Roat, and two ex-convicts trace a heroin-filed doll to the apartment of Sam Hendrix and his blind wife, Susy. Through deception, they convince Susy that Sam is implicated in a murder, and the doll proves his innocence. She refuses to reveal it and discovers the charade with a neighbor’s help.

The music of Stundom is Nordic in its essence. Inspired by the traditional dance music from their ancestors, the trio invites you into their wondrous world, blending folk traditions with classical chamber music and symphonic elements.

All the pageantry and vibrant energy of a harvest festival in rural Korea comes together in the flying footwork, brilliantly colored dress, and joyful percussion of pungmul, breathtakingly presented by the master artists of the Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago.

This event will take place at the Light Fine Arts Building on the campus of Kalamazoo College.

Founded in 2013 as a drumming program for youth, Korean Performing Arts Institute of Chicago hosts a slate of projects including instruction in a variety of percussion, wind, and string instruments; artist residencies; performances; workshops; and lectures to more than 50,000 people annually in Chicago and beyond.

Join Merry Lea this fall for an “enchanted” night hike! Trail guides will lead groups by lantern-light to meet real “live” animals on our trails. These friendly creatures will tell you about their diets, habits and favorite places. Our costumed staff and volunteers will answer questions about life as a native Indiana animal. Hikes are one hour long and head out about every 25 minutes.

While you wait for a guide, enjoy music and snacks. End the evening sipping hot cocoa around a campfire! This family-friendly evening is a great alternative to Halloween events that are too scary for young children.

Cost: $5/ person (cash preferred). *Ages 2 & under are free.

Includes snacks and hot cocoa, extra refreshments available for additional fee.
