Under the moonlight, the Jellicle Cats gather for the annual Jellicle Ball, where one cat will be chosen to ascend to the Heaviside Layer and be reborn into a new life. Each cat has its own story, personality, and rhythm, from the charming Mr. Mistoffelees to the soulful Grizabella, whose haunting song “Memory” has captivated audiences around the world.

Calling Actors and Technicians, ages 8-15years!

Goshen Theater Drama Club’s Summer Camp runs June 8-26, with a final showcase on June 27 at 2PM. Campers who choose the “Performer Track” will spend their days rotating between Acting, Dance, and Music Classes. They will use improv and devised theater to create original plays to be performed at the final showcase, along with learning and creating multiple music and dance numbers. Campers who choose the “Technician Track” will spend their days learning how to operate lighting and sound equipment; building props, costumes, and set pieces; and learning how to create and run a show from behind the scenes.

Take in the beauty of the St. Joseph River while paddling at a comfortable pace and connecting with others! Choose your vessel and be guided along the river by park staff. Once on the water, this paddle will be around 3 hours. This event is for those aged 55 and over. Registration and payment required by Friday, June 5.

MCHS is announcing the third in its America’s 250 Brown Bag Lunch & Lecture series featuring presentations on the Revolutionary War era. The next Brown Bag event is on Friday, June 12, from Noon – 1:00 p.m. Join Judge Matthew Sarber for an engaging look at the U.S. Constitution — its founding ideas, the influence of the Federalist Papers, and the framework that shaped our government. Judge Sarber will also connect these principles to today’s world, leading what is anticipated to be a thought-provoking discussion and Q&A inspired by current events.
