Prosecutors say the Elkhart County Homicide Unit reopened the 1981 case file in 2024 and started questioning Elkhart's Daniel Martin, while co-defendant Robert Sage lives in Ocala, FL. Donald Wasserman's wife told police he disappeared after a meeting with Sage.
