Christmas in the Village: “Celtic Christmas” — Celebrate the magic of the season featuring two enchanting performances: Saturday, December 6, 2025, 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 7, 2025, 4:00 p.m. “What a beautiful time of year to share holiday favorites, infused with the spirit and charm of Celtic music—plus a few delightful surprises along the way. Join us for an unforgettable musical journey that blends the warmth of the holidays with the rich traditions of Celtic sound, featuring Vocal Vision, Vocal Vision Youth, Vocal Vibes, members of the Symphony of the Lakes, Grace College’s Lancer Chorus, and a guest performance by Celtic Dancers and Musicians.
Tickets are $12 for seniors and students and $15 for adults. Children 5 and under are free (with any ticket purchase).

George Bailey has so many problems he is thinking about ending it all – and it’s Christmas! As the angels discuss George, we see his life in flashback. As George is about to jump from a bridge, he ends up rescuing his guardian angel, Clarence – who then shows George what his town would have looked like if it hadn’t been for all his good deeds over the years.

Save the date for the beloved Advent tradition of Lessons and Carols, brought to you by the Sisters of the Holy Cross, the Saint Mary's Department of Music, and the Center for Faith, Action, and Ministry. Join us on the Third Sunday of Advent, December 14th at 4 pm at the Church of Our Lady of Loretto for a service of readings and carols that explore the promise of a Messiah bringing a reign of justice and peace, the incarnation of Jesus, and the wondrous mystery of redemption.

FOR DECEMBER: Join us for a fun, hands-on craft session where we’ll create a trio of festive decorations — a delicate quilled paper snowflake, a cheerful beaded candy cane, and a colorful acrylic ornament perfect for gift wrapping or hanging on your tree! All material provided and activity led by Loanne Harms - each project is simple enough to finish during the session! Feel the holiday spirit and cheer and enjoy sweet snacks, warm drinks, & good company!

The Council on Aging and Hunny Pot Pottery Studio are teaming up to host a festive Holiday Ornament Painting Party—and you’re invited!
This event is a wonderful opportunity for older adults in Elkhart County to relax, get creative, and enjoy a warm holiday gathering with friends - old and new. Invite a friend, a neighbor, or a family member and enjoy a creative holiday afternoon.
Warm beverages, tasty snacks and a cozy holiday atmosphere await! Everyone will receive one ornament to paint (no charge) and additional (for you or a guest) may be purchased onsite.
